What happens when you have a cookie problem? You search for a cookie solution, that leaves you feeling full of kindness.
Because of COVID-19, all of the members of Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont have had to cancel their cookie booths. Troops are left with cookies they must pay for, but are unable to follow their traditional sales model.
More than 90 area troops are doing their best to think outside the box, and they need our help. Their collective back-stock totals more than 15,506 packages (1,292 cases) of cookies, and they are hoping you’ll buy some that they can donate to our many hometown heroes in the Cookies For Courage campaign.
Sponsored cookies will be donated throughout our communities, providing girls with an additional philanthropic learning opportunity amid our new normal. Cookies will go to local food pantries, healthcare workers and first responders – to bring a smile to all those impacted by this global epidemic.
$50 will buy a single case of cookies, and the Girl Scouts will take care of delivering it to those battling coronavirus on the front lines.
